Judy Gardner is a shaman, mixed media artist and self-professed process junkie, currently completely obsessed with 3D printing. She earned a BFA in Graphic Design at Northern Arizona University and a Masters in Humanities at the University of Colorado, Denver. Her work is featured in many prestigous collections, including the State of Hawaii Art in Public Places, the City of Arvada, Colorado public art, the Denver Public Library, the University of Denver and Regis University.

Judy worked for many years doing animation and visualization for forensics, manufacturing and architecture. This technical background in computer modeling has served as the perfect springboard to leap into 3D printing and digital fabrication to explore their potential as artistic mediums. It has also earned her the nickname, "The Nerd Goddess." She currently teaches 3D printing at the Art Students League of Denver and runs Alchemical Eye Studio, where she pursues her own work and also works as a consultant with artists wishing to incorporate digital fabrication processes such as 3D printing, laser cutting and etching and CNC routing into their work.

Judy is passionate about gardening, SCUBA diving, camping and the intimate relationship with nature that forms as a result of engaging in these pursuits.
